MB Financial Park
MB Financial Park is like a European plaza, an open, grassy space surrounded by innovative restaurants and friendly bars with open-air seating. The park hosts seasonal events like concerts, movies, fireworks, ice skating, and farmers markets. If the weather isn’t conducive to enjoying the outdoors, you can take in a movie at the 18-screen theater and enjoy indoor seating at one of the restaurants.
King’s Bowl America
This retro-style bowling emporium is also a dining and entertainment complex. King’s Bowl features 20 lanes of bowling, a restaurant, and two bars. Visit the Royal Room or Kings Corner if you’d rather play billiards or shuffleboard. The entire 27,000-square-foot complex boasts more than 50 giant flat-screen TVs that broadcast local and national sports all day long.
Everyone age 3 and up can try out a skydiving experience at the iFLY indoor skydiving facility. There are no actual parachutes, and you don’t have to jump out of a plane at iFLY. Just take a brief training session, and then put on your gear and step into a vertical wind tunnel that positions you on top of a cushion of air. You can float indefinitely and experience the adrenaline rush of freefall.
Zanies Comedy Club
This nightclub has been drawing famous comedians to Rosemont for years. Everyone over age 21 is invited to share a few laughs over snacks and cocktails. You can get discounted tickets at the Zanies website and check the listings for upcoming events. Whether you prefer national talent or an open mic night, Zanies has something that will make you laugh.
